Contributed by National Officers

As the winter months are getting closer and November is progressing, your National Officer Team is challenging you to serve for those who have served for us! This November, our service theme is Veterans. As members of BPA, we know that Patriotism is one of the core values of our organization and serves as one of our nine torches. As stated in the Patriotism torch, “we recognize our obligation to our country and accept the responsibility of dependable citizenship.” Weather you have already began to volunteer for Veterans this month, or are still planning to, know that there are countless ways to get involved! Listed below are a few suggestions that we have compiled to help get you started:

 Volunteer at your local VA medical center

 Prepare and distribute meals or care packages

 Mentor Veterans in computer skills, interview skills, etc.

 Simply, say thank you

Remember, these are just a few suggestions! We encourage you to reach out in any way that may benefit Veterans in your local area. Don’t forget to tell us about your service experience by sharing photos on Twitter and using the hashtag #BPAService. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish and how you choose to Spread Your

Wings BPA!
